FYI:
*Election Day tomorrow - no school

*Literacy Letter is DUE WEDNESDAY

Reading:
Today in reading we worked on long passages to describe the setting and character traits.  We worked mostly on this together modeling and what the best answers should include.  Students also worked on their vocabulary and we read from our class read-aloud, Hoot.
HW:
Vocab: FSK group: page 3, WW group: Section 3, SAT group: no HW

Writing:
Today we reviewed our genre traits on prose and plays.  Students are taking a prose and turning it into a play.  Not an easy task!!! They are working very hard on these and hopefully they will be complete Friday.

Math:
Students worked on dividing up to 3 dividends in class.  There are a few students who are still having trouble with this rotation! Please watch them tonight for their HW! 
Challenge Group- students worked on word problems with double digit divisors.

SS:
Students participated in their Town Hall Debate.  We had a moderator and several very well thought out questions! Then students voted anonymously.  Our class winner was Ben! Mrs. Maldonado's SS class winner was Sydney! Congrats to all who participated!!

**Extra Credit: IF your child votes with you, please have them place the sticker that says "I Voted!" in their Tuesday planner for xtra credit! IF your child can't vote with you but you explain the process of going with them and they watch the news...you can place your sticker in their planner or just mark a little note! Thanks! :)
