Science:

Today we continued learning about food chains and food webs! We worked on a hand out that asked about the differences and similarities in a food chain and a web and the componants of each one.  Most students finished this in class.

Reading:

*Vocab words for the week are posted under the section to the right. **Just a reminder, the vocab. will be posted under the MONDAY post once my long-term sub begins.

Today we worked continued to look at character traits. We reviewed the character traits for our treasures story that we read together yesterday and completed a task where we identified three characters in the story and listed 10 character traits about each one.  Next, students got into their lit. groups and read 2 more chapters together.

HW: Finish after reading question in journal

Math:

We worked on multiplying numbers with zeros.  We practiced many problems in the class as a whole group.

HW: Sheet with 6 questions they are to complete and have signed.

Writing:

Writing was cut short due the speech given by President Obama.  We worked on a their/there/they're worksheet. Lastly, we got in some DEAR time.
