Discipline for 4th Grade


Mrs. Burton's Class -
Behavior Behavior Chart:No HW = 1 markTalking/Touching others = 1 markNot paying attention = 1 mark For the week, if you receive more than 2 marks you will not be allowed to participate in Lunch Bunch on Friday’s. Lunch Bunch is during lunch time on Friday’s (or the last day of the week) where you get to eat in the room and watch a movie.
Behavior Chart Rewards:
Often times the behavior chart is rarely used and I would rather use positive reinforcement. After the first few weeks of school, the Behavior Chart will change into a GOOD THING to GET MARKS. Students can EARN good marks and will receive special privileges such as; eating in the classroom on a day other than Friday, using the computer for a few minutes after completing work, etc.

High Hoops Program “BasketPaws”Class Reward System
Students can earn basketballs to put in the hoop. We will decide as a class what our reward will be once all the baskets have been made. Students, as a whole class, can earn these baskets by all paying attention in class, all turning in HW on time, compliments from other teachers, compliments from specials teachers, and good weekly behavior in the cafeteria.
