*What to look for:
Your child cleaned out his/her desk for the most part today. They will be bringing home folders and workbooks. Please look through those before discarding! :)
Your child will also be bringing home his/her Summer Work Packet. There are 3 parts to this packet. If 1 part is completed your child will receive a prize, for the entire packet completed, the prize will be bigger.
Today we worked in small groups to write plays with story elements: plot, characters, narrators, problem/solution, etc. They were really creative and cute!
We also reviewed all of 4th grade math. Students did a pretty good job on this!
Lastly, we worked on word work and had our incentive for today: ice cream sandwiches!
**Have a great night and I hope to see you at the Pool Party tonight at Firebrook pool. Please bring $5 to cover the cost from the Rehm's and the pizza. I will be there as soon as we are finished interviewing new teachers for GSE! :)
