This morning we practiced cursive writing and multiplication.

Science:
Today we made a diagram of a flower plant with its structures and functions.  Students also took a mini-quiz over classifying.
No HW

Reading:
Reading was partly interrupted by a Boy Scouts meeting; but we did get to read and write our own cinquain poems.  We will record those tomorrow. We also practiced a little for our vocab. test.
HW: practice words for vocab. test (will need to write in a sentence and spell correctly), some students need to finish cinquain poems

Math:
Today we split up into small groups with my assistant and completed the study guide as well as went over the HW...especially the last question! :)
HW: STUDY study guide and pages we completed out of workbook for test TOMORROW

Writing:
We continued working on our poems.  Most students are finished writing their first drafts and are working on spelling with the dictionary.
