Reading:
I can use structural elements in a poem and write a prose for reluctant readers.
We used the poem "Casey at the Bat".  We began doing a prose all together and the students had wonderful examples!
We also worked on our individualized vocab. groups.  We did not get to Lit. groups today!
HW: complete Casey At The Bat if not in class, complete vocab. assignment (check the tab that says vocab. for their weekly assignments)

Writing:
Ms. Wilham worked with the kids on more figurative language found in poetry.  Students worked on creating their own poems using imagery and personification. 
HW: complete poem if not in class

Math:
We did not have math time due to  our Technology Time today.  During TT we completed a Poetry WebQuest on Figurative Language.

SS:
Students created a new law to pass and then made the steps a bill takes to become a law in a game board fashion.
