Reading:
We continued with refering to details.  Students were put into leveled groups to work with one of 3 adults.  Students were give a fictional story, informational story and then leveled questionarries to work on this skill.  Students also used this skill in their lit. circles.

Writing:
We completed the writing process through our friendly letters to Mr. Brehm.  They sounds great!

Math:
Students practiced a few different skills today in leveled groups.  We worked on comparing numbers, ordering numbers, and place value of numbers using word problems.  Students did a fantastic job with this really working hard and asking questions.  I was impressed at how well they used their time in their small groups.

**It is my GOAL to not make it a common known thing as to where the kids are placed.  If you cannot tell by the work coming home, please EMAIL me or write me a note, try to not ask your child.  We want all kids to know they are smart and they are exceeding and being challenged whether they are working at the same pace as their neighbor or not!

We finished making our songs for landforms and performed them.
