Hi Parents!!!! Man, YOU guys are lucky!! You all have some amazing kids!! I'm so in love with my class already!
We've had a wonderful 2 days with each other! Below is a list of things we've completed:

*2 truths & a lie game to get to know our neighbors
*read The Name Jar with writer's notebooks journal prompts & community puzzle pieces
*completed Singapore End Of 3rd Grade test (for placement purposes - kids scoring 85% and higher will take the 4th grade test)
*decorated and personalized our Writer's Notebook journals for this year
*more journal writing on expectations, fears, excitements, etc.
*Olympic bio personal sheets (find them in the hallway!)
*and more!
We earned 10 PAWS already!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!! We will be celebrating by having Popsicles outside and 5 minutes extra recess tomorrow!! If anyone would like to help supply Popsicles, please email me! Thanks!!!! (we have 22 students!)

{blog expectations}
I will write a post *almost* every day! Some days I get super busy during planning and right after school and do not have time! Always look in the planner, but especially on those days, please! The kids will begin soon writing their own blog posts on their special blog - look forward to it! Also, I write really fast to get everything completed in a day so there may be spelling/grammar mistakes (see disclaimer to the right) sometimes. PLEASE don't be too hard on me! :) This is a helpful tool for you to get some extra insight on what we're doing in class AND upcoming events!
Have a wonderful night!
Mrs. Burton
