Reading LO: I can identify 1st and 2nd hand accounts in non-fiction
Science LO: I can draw conclusions about fossils about what they ate, their age, what type of environment they lived in
SS LO: I can explain why explorers would want to settle in KY
Activities: Students read a real account of Dinosaur Sue and then a story about finding the first T-Rex. Students discussed in small groups. Students then read about early KY settlers and what types of fossils the settlers might have found. Next, we read about Jemima Boone in a 1st and 2nd hand account re-telling and completed a character sketch.
Language: I can write complete sentences using homonyms correctly.
Vocab: Students worked on writing sentences and making notecards.

Math:
LO: I can explain and determine the outcomes for multiplication and division problems.
Activity: Today we worked in small teacher led groups or in pairs on mult. and div. facts and on our 2nd study guide for our TEST on MONDAY.
HW: study for the test on Monday!
