*Kids received NEW GSE shirts today from the PTA! Yay! We are wearing them on Friday! :)

*Reading and Writing time were cut short today due to the Real Science Program in the gym.*

Reading:
We completed a pre-test for reading small groups next week.  Students also worked on their prefixes.
HW: make flashcards for vocab. words...kids were encouraged to bring home index cards to do so

Writing:
Students worked more on their prose to plays activity in their pairs.  I think they are sounding great!
No HW

Math:
We worked a LOT on division!! Students were split into 4 groups based on what they needed to focus on for division practice.
Challenge Group: "teacher dice" game with double digit divisors
HW: ALL - individualized 4 problems, please sign

SS:
Today we completed the second part of our review study guide for the government test TOMORROW.  Please go over the questions with your child tonight! :)
