Sorry for no post yesterday! We had team meeting after school and then I left to get Harper for a doctor appt.!  Hopefully, you were able to talk to your child about what we learned yesterday!

*This morning we had our pre-lesson for the Dollars & Sense program on Friday.  It took 30 minutes! So our science was short.

Science LO: I can review weather terms.
Activity: We played review Weather Jeopardy today.  It was a great review for the kids.  We will begin on our study guide tomorrow.  If you would like to game sent to your email, just send me an email and I will respond with it for your child to play at home. I couldn't figure out how to upload it to the blog!!

SS: STUDY the states and capitals!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We took a mock test today - yiiiikes! Only 4 kids could label the map correctly! The kids have a blank map to bring home today to help them.  Also, don't forget about the song!

Reading: We did not get reading today. We finished up our Career Studies course with Mrs. Moses in the computer lab.  Ask your child what they found out they may want to be when they grow up!

WritingLO: I can write a conclusion.
Activity: Today we wrote our conclusion to our articles on our 1st drafts and created a peer editing model to use together.
No HW

Math LO: I can compare and order decimals and fractions.
Activity: We once again reviewed the 'wordy' problems with decimals and fractions.  We are learning to cut out the unnecessary words to figure out what the problem is really asking.
